The ball will be mostly in your court during this phase. Assuming measurements have been approved, we will make sure stakeholders have agreed on all details. This is critical as we are preparing to start shop drawings. Have you heard the story of a butterfly's wings causing a typhoon? Your project is like that: even a small change can affect the entire layout. The shop drawing process is time intensive, and if a change is made after we've started shop drawings, it could take several hours or more to make the necessary adjustments.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
If you need input on small design details, layout or functionality, we are happy to assist. We are happy to provide you with samples for your project. Due to recent CalEPA regulations, the costs for conversion varnish and the costs to dispose of unused conversion varnish have skyrocketed. As a result, we charge $250 per 12" x 12" sample requested. This cost will be credited back to you for each color used in the project.
